Adult Psychotherapy
I work with adults who have a wide range of problems, from chronic trauma to disappointment with life. We look together at how you consciously and unconsciously think, feel, and act in your life. We understand where you are stuck or holding yourself back. Sometimes this takes the form of tightly holding onto things that cause suffering, or unintentionally stopping ourselves from experiencing more of what life has to offer.
Every client has unique goals, however some common themes that emerge with many of my clients include cultivating a sense of confidence that is there when needed; learning how to build quality relationships that are approached with vulnerability and effective, healthy boundaries; discovering what it means to spend time “meaningfully.”
Psychotherapy aims to address the problems that are causing you suffering, while also helping you to independently grow and mature as you move through the rest of your life.
